Curtains Up Showcase ’21 Preview

A chat with the showcase organiser Annie Humphrey led me towards the list of around 60 acts and bands who are all set to gather and reveal their talents at this established annual event.

My colleague Catherine Usher and I are sharing the reviewing responsibilities and Genting Casino in Southend on Sea is the venue which is set to stage the Curtains Up showcase next week.

Staged over four sessions on September 27&28, this is a flagship event for the entire light entertainment. We are pleased to be attending and providing review coverage.

The reviews will appear in our October magazine issue.
